About

I'm a strategic finance executive with 15+ years across consumer finance, asset management, and Fortune 100 financial services. My career has consistently put me in the same situation: walking into companies that need a finance function built or rebuilt, with leadership that needs financial data turned into a decision.

I'm equally comfortable as a board-level strategic partner and as a hands-on operator who'll personally tear through a vendor list to find the $4M no one else noticed. The work I'm proudest of falls in both categories: standing up the FP&A function at National Debt Relief, designing the offshore workforce strategy that unlocked $20M, governing a $6B+ rewards liability at American Express, launching the budget for a new hedge fund at ABR.

How I work

Build first, then optimize. I'd rather ship a P&L forecast model the business actually uses than perfect one nobody opens. The best finance output is the kind that becomes the common language of the executive team.

Treat analytics as a partner function, not a service desk. The analytics work I led at NDR exists because the FP&A team needed answers nobody could give us, and the way to fix that was to build the team that could.

Default to clear narratives over comprehensive ones. Boards and CEOs consume two things well: the headline and the chart. Everything else has to earn its way onto the page.

Outside of work

Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL with my wife Tanya and our first child on the way. I spend my non-finance time building things, currently a baby registry site and an AI image app, both of which are how I sharpen on modern tooling between roles.
